playin' an Alpine game on carbon today combination of holdem and omaha. I kinda like mix games so I joined pretty soon I hit a nice hand in holdem that holds up and I dubble up. getting a head start right away. rest of the game I dont give a thing away. My chips are mine and that's how it's gonna be. I'm a pretty tight player so chips I win ussualy stay with me. I work my way up the ranks and when we hit 30 out of 83 players I am in 2nd position with 16K stack happy like a little boy. thats when I hit this omaha hand: QQ46 Its hi lo omaha so the 4 and 6 give me a nice back up for my queens. flop comes: 7 10 Q SWEET I hit top set only 2 more guys in the pot with me so I raise for value little over half the pot 1500 1 guy stays in and an A comes on the turn lets hope he has it I think, or maybe 23 for a nice low draw I make another value bet 35000 and my oponent pushes it all in that oponent was the chip leader the only guy with more chips and I had been avoiding his ass for a while. but I called he could hit a beter low but only KJ or AA would beat my hi. and ofcourse he turns over AA2J drawing me dead. happy feeling gone. nr 2 out of 28 players down to finishing 28th. AND I WAS PISSED. snug25 was there he can tell you, I was not happy. but hey better luck next time. I will make a top 5 in an Alpine game and I will get one of those WSOP seats mark my words.......
